Retro & Modern The constituting elements of this bathroom were: A bath made of foundry iron, a double porcelain wash-bowl, a characteristic old flour in natural black-and-white-stone with chess-pattern alternated by a flour in oak. So the choice for the ‘Metro-tile’ was almost obvious because of his retro-look and the fact he looks quite ‘chique’ at the same time. The choice for a mosaic combination, even with this type of tile, was definitely risky business but made a good link with the already installed modern design in forms of lamps and the spiral-formed shower gear. |
