Geometric Design This bathroom is something completely different in comparison to the others in terms of colour-use as well as design. The famous ‘krullewieten’ or ‘curls’ are replaced by geometric figures. Even the blue colour was changed by saturated tones of green, red-brown and ochre. Instead of pieces of mirror I used very colourful red pearls. To give the total creation an extra cachet I worked this time not only with broken tiles but also with pieces of stained glass in different shades of green. In this bathroom you can distinct 3 ‘blocks’ of mosaic being the wall limiting the bath; the zone above the washing-bowl and the toilet corner with a double function: at the toilet-side you will see a book-shelf, at the other side the washing machine is hidden! |
